Exporting Events for Team Manager

Meet organisers who are using Meet Manager must export an Events file for Team Manager. This is done once the events have been created in the Meet Manager database. This file may be referred to as the TM Events file.

The file should send to the MSQ Website Administrator if the meet will be accepting electronic entries created in Team Manager. The TM Events file should always be provided to the Branch Recorder as early as possible prior to the meet as this is used for administration of the Swimming Management System. This should be sent even when the Meet Organisers will not be accepting electronic entries created in Team Manager.


Procedure

  1. In Meet Manager, select the File menu.
  2. Select the Export submenu.
  3. Click on the Events for TM menu option.
  4. Check the details shown on the Meet Parameters window. If the details are correct click Yes. (Usually everything is fine here)
  5. Under Conversions, select Team Manager SCM/LCM and Yards entry times CAN be converted to LCM/SCM or .
  6. Under Events, select Standard Events and Time Trial Events.
  7. Click OK.
  8. Select the Directory in which to save the exported file. This is usually the same directory that your database is stored in. (e.g. C:\swmeets3 or C:\swmeets4)
  9. Using your preferred email program or website, send a copy of the exported events file to the MSQ Website Administrator if the meet will be accepting electronic entries via Team Manager. The TM Events file should always be sent to the Branch Recorder regardless of whether or not electronic entries are being accepted.
