Seeding Events

Individual events must always be seeded by the nominated time of the swimmer. The Meet Manager settings are suitable for 7 or 8 lane pools, however for 10 lane pools the settings will need to be modififed. See Standard Lane Preferences for more information.

Procedure

1. Select the Seeding menu option. The Seeding the Meet window will appear.
2. In the Event List in the bottom half of the screen, select each of the Seed checkboxes for Individual Events. Do not seed Postal events.
3. Under Masters Seeding select By Time.
4. Select the Start Seeding menu option.
5. A message box will display that seeding is completed.
6. In the Event List in the bottom half of the screen, select each of the Seed checkboxes for Relay Events.
7. Under "Masters Seeding" select by Age, then By Time. Note: You should remove any nominated seed times supplied in relay entries prior to seeding.
8. Select the Start Seeding menu option.
9. A message box will display that seeding is completed.
10. When finished Seeding close the window.
